D’Ieteren Centers wanted to solve problems that people experience when moving in or out 

Positioning itself as a mobility partner instead of only a car dealer, D’Ieteren Centers want to solve the transport-related pains that its customers experience. By providing a (very) short term van rental service they want to offer a solution to this challenge. People can simply go to Zaventem, scan the QR-code on the van, register as a MyMove user and drive off with the van after a couple of minutes.

MyMove empowers DCZ with an all-in-one platform to operate such an autonomous (unmanned) rent-a-car formula.

Today, the vans are parked on the premises of DCZ and are freely accessible by anyone, any time of the day (or night).

There are several prerequisites for such a service:

1. No hassle managing or giving the van physical keys to clients outside of business hours.

2. 24/7 availability. People often move in and out outside of business hours and they need to be able to rely on 24/7 support.

3. Damage checks need to be fully automated. D’ieteren Centers staff no longer need to check damages after each rental and only sporadically needs to revise the reported damages.
